WHAT IS NATIONAL CENTER OF CULTURE

The National Center of Culture is a state cultural institution whose statutory task is to undertake activities for the development of culture in Poland.

The topic of activities of the National Center of Culture is:

- Cultural education and increasing interest in culture and art,

- Development and professionalization of the cultural sector,

- Promotion of Polish national heritage as an element of European cultural heritage,

- Maintaining and disseminating the national and state tradition.

The National Center of Culture also deals with:

- Inspiring and supporting social movements and non-governmental organizations operating in the field of culture and national heritage,

- Cultural information and research in the field of culture and national heritage,

- Raising the qualifications of staff involved in cultural activities.

HEUREKA GENERATOR AND NATIONAL CENTER OF CULTURE

In 2020 Heureka Generator received funding under the 'Culture on the Web' program, thanks to which we were able to conduct further living history lessons and capture them in the form of a video on a specially prepared website. The implementation of the activities gave us a lot of new experience related to the implementation of the project in frames of a new grant. We hope that we will manage to implement projects under the aegis of the National Center of Culture more than once.
