Appeal of 'Children of Zamojszczyzna'
On 24th of July 2023, we met in Zamość with Mr. Lucjan Gnyp, a retired teacher of the 'Children of Zamojszczyzna' Secondary School, an honorary member of the Polish Association of Former Political Prisoners of Nazi Prisons and Concentration Camps, co-author of the appeal of the 'Children of Zamojszczyzna' created in the face of Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
During the meeting, young people representing the Heureka Generator association from Zamość and the Ukrainian Development and Initiative organization from Dnipro got acquainted with the tragic fate of the 'Children of Zamojszczyzna'. Children who survived WWII acknowledged that they could not remain indifferent to the tragedy of Ukrainian children being transported to Russia from the areas affected by the ongoing war.
Mr. Lucjan read out to the participants of the meeting the content of the appeal of the Children of the Zamość region. We invite everyone to familiarize themselves with the content of the appeal.
