Project 'Become ECOnfident' is coming to an end
Our project within Key Action 2 of the European Erasmus+ programme is coming to an end.
Today (30th of November 2023) is the last day of the project titled 'Become ECOnfident,' which the HEureka Generator association has coordinated over the past 15 months.
Together with our partners from Romania and Lithuania, we invited our partner schools to participate in joint activities.
In each school, we communicated with a contact teacher who, collaborating with us, encouraged students to establish and run afterlessons clubs. The clubs were successfully established, and their activities were based on the principles of non-formal education, which is the foundation of our association's actions.
Students from Poland, Romania, and Lithuania, depending on the ideas of each club, had the opportunity to participate in activities such as:
-Ecological excursions
-Ecological debates
-Volunteer training
-Creating a school radio network
-Ecological conference
-Meetings with experts
Within our project, three international activities were planned.
A working meeting helped us assess progress in establishing clubs, compare the ideas of students, and discuss what we managed to achieve. Partners from Lithuania and Romania also visited the J. Słowacki Primary School in Małochwiej Duży, where the Polish club was established.
The international meeting of clubs allowed direct interaction among students from all three clubs, exchanging experiences about local activities, and engaging in joint activities focused on ecology and building self-confidence.
The evaluation meeting allowed us to summarize the strengths and weaknesses of the project and discuss how, after the conclusion of joint activities, we would continue to involve students from the clubs in our subsequent local and international actions.
We thank everyone involved for this experience. Now time for work with the visibility and dissemination of the results.
